The Snow Removal Program is available to seniors of Benzie County aged 60 and older. This service provides shoveling and plowing and insures that seniors are able to get in and out of their homes and driveways safely during the winter months.
Charges for these services are determined using a sliding fee scale based on household income.

- Bring proof of total monthly gross household income to Benzie Senior Resources office. Based on monthly income (Social Security income, retirement/pensions, etc.), a sliding scale fee will be used to determine cost per voucher. (Please bring in most recent bank statement)
- Purchase snow removal vouchers in advance of getting snow removed.
- These snow removals include driveway, sidewalk and main entrance. Driveway size limit is up to 50 feet X 200 feet. If driveway is longer than that, arrangements will need to be made with assigned contractor for any additional costs to plow.
