The Cornerstone Club

Did you know that Benzie Senior Resources (BSR) is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization? And that the county millage covers only 56% of operating costs? Each year, BSR needs to raise nearly an additional $700,000 to continue the 25 programs and services they provide to Benzie County seniors.

What is the Cornerstone Club? A group of donors who commit to making monthly gifts to support BSR.

How does this help Benzie seniors? Consistent income from the Cornerstone Club helps BSR more accurately plan the annual budget for both current program needs and for deepening services to our growing number of Benzie seniors.

What is the benefit to donors? Joining the Cornerstone Club allows donors reach their philanthropic goals through manageable monthly payments as opposed to larger one-or-two time annual sums. In addition, Cornerstone Club members receive a quarterly newsletter with program updates, so donors can read in real time how their gifts are supporting senior community members.

Is there a minimum amount that must be pledged monthly? No! Monthly gifts of all sizes are needed and welcomed.

May gifts be restricted to a specific program or service? We understand that donors may wish to support a specific activity within the agency. We are happy to accomodate those wishes for single gifts. Cornerstone Club monthly gifts are limited to general operations so that the funds may be moved as needed to support the most current pressing needs.

How do I join? It’s simple! Click on the Donate Now button on the right, and request that your gift be made monthly, as opposed to one-time.
